Solicitor Certificates

Each solicitor's certificate is provided by a solicitor employed by Mendelawitz Morton, Commercial Lawyers.

Simply book the time that you want to see a solicitor. During your appointment, the solicitor will explain to you the consequences of signing the guarantee documents requested by your financial provider.

It is essential that we receive the guarantee documents at least 24 hours notice before your appointment. Our fax number is (08) 9388 8870. This allows us sufficient time to read them and prepare any questions that we may have.

2. Most documentation concerning a bank facility takes the solicitor a minimum of 40 minutes to read and explain.
3. The cost of this service is $275 (including GST) per person for up to an hours consultation. Time is then charged at $50 per fifteen minutes.
4. If two or more people are required to have documents explained to them and are family members, there is a $50 discount to each subsequent person.
5. Please note that each person has to have the documentation explained to them without any other person being in the room.
6. Depending on certain circumstances, there is no guarantee that the solicitor will sign the certificate. Each of the circumstances concern a person being "induced" against their will to provide the guarantee in question.
7. We will use our best endeavours to have more than one solicitor available, if more than one family member is required to have the documentation explained.
8. Please ensure that a copy of the documentation is provided to us no less than 24 hours prior to the meeting. If it is not provided, then the solicitor will have to read it while you are having a coffee in the waiting room. Our facsimile number is (08) 9388 8870.
9. Bookings may be cancelled using this site providing this is done 24 hours before the booking time. If this is not done then the fee will still apply.
